Libertyville is a family-friendly community of just over 300 residents located in southeast Iowa.

City Maintenance is located just west of City Hall.
Our Mayor is Rodney Nelson and City Council members are Tom Atwood, Cody Guffey, Rebecca Miller, Scott Roulet and Kevin Snyder. City Council meets at the Community Center on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Libertyville Fire and Rescue is located at 500 North Main Street. Fire Chief is Gerrad Goodrich and Assistant Chief is Dan Nystrom. We currently have a roster of 20 volunteer firefighters.
If you are new to town, please stop in or call City Hall with any questions and also to arrange for water service. You will be asked to fill out a short information form and make a water and sewer deposit. Utility bills are sent to residents at the end of each month with payment due on the 10th of each month. Payments may be made at City Hall during regular business hours, mailed to PO Box 225 or dropped in the door slot after hours.
City utilities include water, sewer and trash. Trash services are provided by Connelly's and pick-up is on Mondays.
